Introduction to Samnak Ecological Park

Samnak boasts the widest berm area and is a sports and relaxation area with a diverse natural environment and a waterfront space for citizens.
Samnak Ecological Park is a playground (446,280㎡) created in the upper part of Samnak Dungeon by the Sasang-gu Office in 1998 on an area that was previously a greenhouse farmland. In 2006, as a result of Busan City's Nakdong River Dungement redevelopment project, an eco-friendly farming garden was created to be used as a feeding ground for winter birds. ㎡, sports facilities such as a water park and inline skating rink, and 66,115 ㎡ of wetlands were restored.
As part of the Four Major Rivers Restoration Project in 2009, all farms were demolished and restored as migratory bird feeding grounds and wetlands, and moorings were built in some areas to lay the foundation for enjoying water leisure activities in the future.
Samnak Ecological Park can be largely divided into three parts: the first is a sports facility for citizens at the top and center, the second is a large natural grassland with a colony of reeds and pussy willows at the top (some of which are sedges), and the third is a walking trail in various places. It consists of a reed marsh at the bottom and a place where many migratory birds visit during the season.
