Introduction to Gocheok-dong Dolmen
This is a Bronze Age tomb located in Gocheok-dong, Guro-gu.
It is located on the grounds of Sinjeong-ri Toseong, an earthen fortress from the Three Kingdoms Period, behind Gocheok High School.
This dolmen was first discovered by an investigation team from Seoul National University in 1998, and a subsequent investigation by professors in related fields concluded that “it appears to have deviated from its original location as there are no stones of the same shape as the cover stone around it.” presented.
In addition, although the scale is not large, a stone room has been confirmed, and judging from the arrangement of the stones, etc., it is assumed to be a dolmen.
The Gocheok-dong dolmen is the only dolmen in Guro-gu, and along with the surrounding Gocheok-dong relic distribution site, it is a good resource for understanding the culture of the surrounding area during the Bronze Age.
Since this place is on the Guro Olle Trail course, it is a good idea to take a leisurely stroll and look around.

Introduction to the graves of Ryu Soon-jeong and Ryu Hong
This cemetery is located in the area of Ryu Sun-jeong, who held the position of Yeonguijeong as an anti-government official, when he passed away at the age of 53 in 1512 (the 7th year of King Jungjong's reign). King Jungjong gave him about 3 million pyeong of land in the area of current Oryu-dong and Onsu-dong in Guro-gu and Yeowol-dong and Dongjak in Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. It was created through donations.
About 80 meters southwest of Ryu Sun-jeong's gravesite, there is the tomb of Ryu Hong, Ryu Sun-jeong's son, who was also listed as a 4th-class national contributor.
To the east of Liu Hong's tomb, there are five tombs of his descendants that were moved from other places.
The graveyard of Ryu Sun-jeong and Ryu Hong is the only graveyard in the Seoul area for father and son, two major contributors, and was built quite early, in the first half of the 16th century.
In particular, the tomb of Ryu Sun-jeong, the number one contributor to the King Jungjong Rebellion, was created with such national interest that the coffin of Jangheung High School, which had been given only to the royal family at the time of its creation, was donated, making it an important resource to learn about the method of constructing the tomb of a meritorious subject.
This cemetery is located about a 20-minute walk from exit 3 of Cheonwangryeok on metropolitan subway line 7.

At Yeogye Cemetery, the tomb of Sunguiranggong Yeogye, the ancestor of the Hamyang Yeo clan, is located at the top, and his wife's tomb is below it.
The progenitor of the Hamyang Yeo clan is Yeo Eo-mae from Naeju, China. He originally served as Hallimhaksa of the Tang Dynasty and became a naturalized citizen of Silla in the 3rd year of King Heongang of Unified Silla (877) to escape the Bull Rebellion.
He settled and lived in Byeokjin-myeon, Seongju-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and served as Gongjo Jeonseo during the Goryeo Dynasty.
Yeogye is the son of Yeoching (1351-1423), who served as military governor from the late Goryeo to the early Joseon Dynasty, and served as Hojo Jwarang and Hojo Champan during the reign of King Taejong.
He passed away in the 3rd year of King Sejong's reign (1421), and his tomb was prepared here in the 10th year of King Sejong's reign (1428).
His wife is Cheongsong Shim, the granddaughter of Shim Baek-deok, who served as a government official at the time, and the daughter of Shim Ui-gu, who served as a judge.
The cemetery has 2 tombs, 1 tombstone, 2 headstones, and 4 literary figures.
It is a tomb style that provides insight into the tomb rituals of the early Joseon Dynasty, and the monument stones and foundation stones are used as valuable materials to help research the tomb style of the early Joseon Dynasty.

Introduction to food culture specialty street (Kkalkal Street)
This is a food street near Guro Digital Complex Station.
There are many excellent restaurants in Guro-gu that are taking the lead in improving wasteful food culture with clean and simple table settings.
The meaning of kkkalgeori is that the restaurant prepares food neatly and customers eat it without leaving anything behind, which is why this unique name was given.
Among the restaurants here, the Kkalkal franchise, which is certified by the district office as a restaurant that provides food that customers can eat with confidence, offers a 2% discount (point accumulation) on the food price to customers who finish their meal neatly.
We are also working to improve our food culture by allowing customers to pack leftover food in take-out containers.
There are many famous restaurants in Kkalkal Street, and many office workers from nearby offices visit this place, making it a crowded place with a large floating population during the evening hours.
