Daeheung-dong Culture and Arts Street
Introduction to Daeheung-dong Culture and Arts Street
The Daeheung-dong area in Jung-gu, Daejeon is the original downtown of Daejeon.
There are buildings and cafes with a sophisticated urban image, while there are also untouched landscapes reminiscent of the 1970s and 1980s.
What makes Daeheung-dong stylish are the old, shabby-looking buildings and the vintage paintings on the exterior walls.
A car breaking through a wall, a T-shirt hanging on a hanger in the Sanho Cafe building, a T-shirt in the alley of the Sanho Inn, and a picture drawn on an electric meter in the alley create an analog landscape.
In addition, old alleys, art shops, small theaters, and galleries are also noticeable.
