Introduction to Dosan Park
This is a neighborhood park located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
In 1973, a park of approximately 10,000 pyeong was created in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu in order to make the great patriotic spirit that Dosan Ahn Chang-ho devoted for the independence and independence of this country and the spirit of education for the edification of the people become a role model for the people.
At the same time as the remains of the teacher were moved from Manguri Cemetery, the remains of his wife, Mrs. Lee Hye-ryun, were moved from Los Angeles, USA and buried together.
Afterwards, a new street with a width of 50m and an extension of 3,250m from Cheongdam-dong in Gangnam-gu to Nonhyeon-dong was named Dosan-daero.
Within the park, one statue, one stone monument, and one epitaph interpreter are installed as monuments to Dosan. Every year on March 10th, a commemorative event to commemorate Dosan is held here, hosted by Heungsadan and the Dosan Memorial Association.

Introduction to Bongeunsa Temple (Seoul)
Bongeunsa Temple is a thousand-year-old temple located in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, the center of Seoul.
It was founded in 794 by State Preceptor Yeonhwa and was first called Gyeonseongsa Temple.
Later, in 1498, Queen Jeonghyeon, the second wife of King Seongjong, greatly rebuilt this temple, which was located on the east side of Seolleung, King Seongjong's tomb, and changed the name of the temple to Bongeunsa Temple.
Bongeunsa Temple was a Zen Buddhist temple representing the Jogye Order during the Joseon Dynasty, and in modern times, it is the site of Dongguk Station Gyeongwon, which was used for teaching work and training apprentices.
Bongeunsa Temple houses two treasures and 40 Seongbo cultural assets.
The Panjeon, which has a plaque written by Chusa Kim Jeong-hee, houses 3,479 tablets of 13 Buddhist sutras, including the Avatamsaka Sutra and the Diamond Sutra.
Every year, on the 9th day of the 9th month of the lunar calendar, a ceremony called Jeongdaebulsa is held in which the Buddhist monks march along the Dharma path while holding a sutra on their heads and reciting the Beopseongge (a repeated explanation of the prose contents of Buddhist scriptures in the form of poetry).
Today, Bongeunsa Temple is creating a new history of Buddhism by operating a temple centered on practice.
Through various programs such as temple stays, Buddhist universities, and sutra schools, we are not only promoting high-quality Korean Buddhist culture at home and abroad, but are also striving to maintain the status of an urban Daechal that realizes social welfare.

Introduction to Seoul Seolleung Royal Tombs [UNESCO World Heritage Site]
Seonjeongneung is the royal tomb of King Seongjong (1457-1494), the 9th king of the Joseon Dynasty, his second wife, Queen Jeonghyeon (1462-1530), and King Jungjong (1488-1544), the 11th king, the second son of King Seongjong.
Seongjong was the grandson of the 7th King Sejo and the second son of Deokjong (Chujon). He was born in the 3rd year of King Sejo's reign (1457) and ascended to the throne at the age of 13 (1469).
He reigned for 25 years and is credited with perfecting the cultural system of the early Joseon Dynasty by focusing on promoting education and culture.
Queen Jeonghyeon was appointed in the 11th year of King Seongjong's reign (1480) and passed away in the 25th year of King Jungjong's reign (1530) at the age of 69.
After ascending to the throne through the Jungjong Rebellion (1506), which overthrew Yeonsangun, King Jungjong, the second son of King Seongjong, sought to reform Yeonsangun's evil government.
Seolleung is the tomb of King Seongjong and Queen Jeonghyeon, and is in the form of Dongwon-i Gangneung (同原異岡陵), which has one pavilion in the same tomb area and tombs built on different hills.
Jeongneung is the tomb of King Jungjong, the 11th king of the Joseon Dynasty, and is a tomb in the form of a Danneung tomb that enshrines a king.
In addition, each tomb has Hongsalmun Gate, Jeongjagak, and Monument, as well as a memorial hall and a historical and cultural center within the tomb area.
Although Seonjeongneung is located in downtown Gangnam, very close to Exit 10 of Seolleung Station and Exit 3 of Seolleung Station on the metropolitan subway, it is not well known, so it is quiet and you can enjoy a quiet walk.
In addition, the wire mesh fence surrounding the tomb was demolished and an old-fashioned fence was built in the forested section to create a stone wall path.
Bongeunsa Temple and COEX Mall are a 15-minute walk away.

Bulguksa Temple
Introduction to Bulguksa Temple
Bulguksa Temple (Seoul) is a temple belonging to the Taegosong Order of Korean Buddhism, located on Daemosan Mountain in Gangnam-gu. It was founded by State Preceptor Jeongjeong in the second year of King Gongmin of Goryeo (1385).
At the time of its founding, the name of the temple was Yaksa Temple. While a farmer in the village below the temple was plowing a field, a Buddha made of stone came out of the ground and was enshrined on the mountain behind the village. State Monk Jeongjeong built a temple at the current location and it was called Yaksa Temple because it was a temple to enshrine the Yaksa Buddha.
At the end of the Joseon Dynasty, Emperor Gojong commissioned Bulguksa Temple with the intention of establishing a pure land of Buddhism. During the Korean War, the temple was destroyed except for the Yaksa Buddha, so Punggokhwasang was rebuilt in 1964.
The seated stone Buddha statue in Yaksijeon of Bulguksa Temple was designated as Seoul Metropolitan Government Cultural Heritage Material No. 36 in 2007.
Bulguksa Temple is located on the Daemosan Mountain section of Seoul Dule-gil Course No. 4, so you can visit it while walking along the Dule-gil trail.
