Introduction to Yaksasa (Incheon)
In 1932, Monk Bowol, who was practicing at Yujeomsa Temple on Mt. Geumgang, happened to pass by Mt. Manwol.
The mountain is not very high, but the east, west, south, and north are all visible at a glance, and the shape of the mountain is unusual as if it extends its arms and embraces the city, so the following year, a small hermitage was built here and it was named Yaksaam.
It was a little further up the mountain than the current Yaksasa Temple, and it seems that the intention was to make Buddha's sermons more accessible to the general public.
Monk Bowol later returned to Mt. Geumgang, and Monk Neunghae Han, who was practicing monasticism at Haegwangsa Temple in Incheon, followed him to guard this place.
In the 1960s, he built the main hall and other buildings at the current location and elevated Yaksaam to Yaksasa Temple, which is what it is today.
Currently, Yaksasa Temple includes Daeungbojeon, Geungnakjeon, Yaksisajeon, Chilseonggak, Sansingak, Maitreya Buddha, Doksungak, Yonggukgak, Josadang, and Iljumun.

Introduction to Nonhyeon Battery
It is a battery built in the late Joseon Dynasty located in Namdong-gu, Incheon Metropolitan City and was designated as a tangible cultural property of Incheon Metropolitan City on March 2, 1982.
The government, which realized the need to strengthen military forces along the coast of Gyeonggi through Byeongin and Shinmiyangyo, ordered Admiral Shin Jeong-hee and Ganghwayusu Lee Gyeong-ha to expand military facilities in order to preemptively defend against foreign forces coming through the coast, and in 1879 (the 16th year of King Gojong of the Joseon Dynasty) ) was built.
At the time of its construction, it was named Hogu Battery after the place of the time, but it is now called Nonhyeon Battery, and two cannon pedestals remain, retaining its old appearance.
Since the coast of Incheon was the route to Hanyang via the sea route of Ganghwa, there were many artillery batteries at the time, but now only Nonhyeon artillery batteries remain.

Introduction to Sorae Port
Sorae Port is located in Namdong-gu, Incheon, and is one of the travel destinations in the metropolitan area where you can easily experience the sea.
Sorae Port has a painful past and is a tourist destination created by that painful past.
The development of Sorae Port began in the late 1930s when a railroad was built to exploit high-quality salt, a raw material for gunpowder, from the area.
After liberation, the lives of the Sorae people were made up of displaced people gathering together to catch shrimp in one or two non-motorized boats, making salted fish, and taking the Suin Line train to Incheon, Suwon, Bupyeong, Seoul, etc., carrying the salted shrimp from dawn and selling it.
The fish market is famous for shrimp, salted fish, and crab.
Fresh seafood, generous bonuses from merchants, and the sound of seagulls circling in the blue sky following the fishing boats leave a deep lingering impression.
In particular, the freshness and taste are so excellent that a festival is held during the crab season or crab season, and when you want the smell of the sea and fresh seafood, you visit Sorae Port.
Don't miss it
The newly renovated fish market spans from the first basement level to the second floor above ground, and is home to about 340 stores, including 300 raw fish restaurants and salted seafood stores.
In particular, the second floor is a restaurant where you can taste raw fish purchased at the fish market, and there are also convenient facilities such as a childcare cafe.
The recently appeared Shrimp Tower Observation Deck is 21m high and is good for a small number of people to enjoy the scenery in privacy.
